Soursop Tea

Soursop tea is an herbal tea that is made from the leaves of the soursop fruit tree. Soursop tea is also called graviola tea and is rumored to have significant powers to prevent or treat cancer. Unfortunately, however, researchers have not been able to prove this benefit in clinical studies. In addition, consuming soursop (especially long-term) may cause harm. Soursop tea is not a "tea" in the traditional sense and is not made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, like black tea or green tea. It is brewed just parts of the soursop plant, which does not contain any caffeine.
Therefore soursop tea is completely caffeine-free. People use the fruit to make juice, smoothies, ice cream, and other sweet treats. Some people also combine soursop tea with other ingredients including soursop fruit, matcha, or other herbal blends to tailor the taste or boost the health benefits.
The benefits of this tea are listed below in detail.
Weight Loss: It contains a number of B vitamins, many of which are involved in optimizing metabolism. This can lead to higher passive fat-burning and provides the body with more energy, leading to greater success in weight loss efforts.
Boosts Immune System: The vitamin C found in soursop tea can stimulate the production of white blood cells and acts as an antioxidant to seek out free radicals and also reduce the chances of oxidative stress in the tissues and organs of the body.
Skin Care: There are a number of astringent properties of soursop tea that can cause the skin to tighten up and the pores to shrink. It also prevents conditions like acne and other inflammation of the pores.
Protects Heart Health: High potassium levels and active compounds in soursop tea help lower blood pressure by a significant amount.
Aids in Digestion: The good balance of vitamins and minerals, as well as anti-inflammatory compounds, can help aid the digestive system and prevent conditions of constipation, indigestion, cramping, bloating and diarrhea.
Boosts Circulation: The high level of iron found in soursop tea helps stimulate the circulatory system and boost energy throughout the body.
Prevents Cancer: Due to the presence of acetogenins, a powerful group of antibiotics that have been found in this fruit and studies have shown positive results in connection with throat, lung, breast and cervical cancers, as well as leukemia.
